AirNote is designed for professional use under EU/UK data protection law. Therapists remain the data controller; AirNote acts as the processor. Relevant docs available in-app.

HIPAA Compliant

AirNote is fully HIPAA-compliant, and supports HIPAA-compliant workflows for US customers, with a signed BAA, HIPAA Implementation Guidance, and requisite documentation.

Session audio is recorded and transcribed locally. AirNote does not send raw audio to AirNote's servers, or any cloud service for transcription. Audio never leaves your computer and is deleted when transcription completes.

When you generate a note, document, formulation or Ask AirNote answer, the relevant text travels securely to our HIPAA-compliant cloud AI models, with zero-data-retention. Audio is never included and models are not trained on client data.

  1. Local storage & cloud backup

Client data including notes, docs and queries are stored on your Mac. If enabled, Cloud Backup stores encrypted records on AirNote's servers which secures your data further.
